Happy Lunar/Chinese New Year

Happy Lunar/Chinese New Year... hope you all have a festive time...

My family would be having Dim Sum today (err obviously when we wake up)... but we skipped out on the traditional clan dinner for New Years Eve (relatives bailed out on the last moment after a whole week of constant, and might i say annoying phonecalls coming from all the relatives that were to be attending) ... sigh... I'm not really a big fan for Dim Sum either... I wanted the dinner so much (all that tasty food... sigh... beyond my reach now).

Anyways the highlight and general consensus for the Ox's in the year of the Dog... GASP!!!... romance? Love? Male OX's find love??? GAH LOL... but then of course that was what was supposed to have happened in the year of the rooster (ie 2005), especially since Rooster/Ox are compatible and perfect "buddies"... ah well at least Ox and Dog are on good terms... so I guess that should mean an ok year...

but then of course the idea is to clean your house, in order to bring in good fortune and all that... but my room is an utter mess... guess whatever luck i'll have will be ruined by my messy room that is welcoming in the new year HAHA...

Sigh.. on the other hand my mother (especially since she's the one the read my fortune to me) is now constantly harassing me about it... but i should be taking better care of my health, and putting better effort into my study, and making sure not to let it sli out of my mind (err too late?) and the Torono Star mentioned something about it being a year of exams ... gasp...

Anyways thats enough ranting... I'll at least oblige my mother on one thing and sleep now (1:06am), tired... didn't have a midnight snack (and SOMETHING I DID learn at Uni... is that my liver is gonna be breaking down its glucogen storage to keep me alive at this point... hence the health issue)

Fishies on the mind... oh and Elections...

hmm nothing much for me to say really... so err yeah LOL

been thinking alot about my aquarium lately... thinking of what other types of fish i should add in there... and to try and avoid conflict and unnesecary deaths... (i think my guppies were attacked by one of the other fish... died a few days ago, though guppies are too weak to cause any problems...). Ah well, my first solution is to get more plants and stuff to give more hiding places to calm down the "boss" (and the ones picked on) of my tank (definitly won't think of getting a female for him, elsewise breeding will cause complete havoc... but that would be cool to watch LOL)



Ah well thats all that really been occuring in my mind lately (asides for some stupid stuff not worth mentioning...)


Oh yes ... its election day this upcoming Mon (Jan 23)... So lets all go out and vote shall we?
gah I wonder how messed up the new government will be... (I say really bad... Sorry i just hate Conservatives alright... if we assume the polls are accurate)
I'll proudly say i'm voting NDP (even though the candidate in our riding won't win at all... and heck I don't even have a clue who it is... not much door-to-door canvassing by any of the candidates... and they really don't have an excuse not to, with this crummy warm weather this weird winter...)

SO eh yeah go out and Vote... its your right... blah blah blah

already procrastinating?? and Cow's Blood

Well the first week of school is now over... sigh... my sleeping habits over the holiday certainly didn't help it at all.... was fighting to stay awake throughout the first 2-3 days worth of classes...

I'm so not looking forward to this term, especially with my new course its a lot lot more work...

On the other hand... it seems that i'm doing way better then compared to last year after having seen my makrs for my exams... but its not worth comparing to anyone else... i'm just too dang awful and stupid... sigh and it doesn't help that i surround myself with friends that make me feel more stupid LOL (wow how much confidence do i have in myself)

already a week worth of reading behind now... boo... and should start planning on how to do the two big writing assignments that i have due in a month and a half...

On the bright side the Zoology lab that i did yesterday was interesting... We were experimenting with Cow's blood to see how much O2 its Haemoglobin would hold... i braved it through and didn't use gloves (actually i didn't know where they were first of all LOL) so yeah my hand was bloody throughout the lab... kinda got messy too... anyways on the bright side the lab was very short and easy (though very monotonous... i kept going back and forth getting blood samples analysed)... the TA's keep saying how were guranteed to get high marks on it... As i said i'm too stupid and i fear I will not be part of the norm LOL

ah well...

Here we go again

sigh... well its the final day the holidays... man how time flies... it certainly does fly...

Sleeping patterns are terribly off, from what it was prior to the exams and i'm now seriously hooked onto a Korean drama called "Emperor of the Sea". Not to mention i'm now seriously debating if i should dicth my sister and continue watching it or wait for her.

Anyways these last past 3 days were quite eventful. Was supposed to play pool/Ping Pong and then go to dinner on thurs @ steakhouse 419 or soemthing like that... However I lost my wallet going to a friends, luckily someone found it and handed it in the police (but i already canceled my bank card by then (so i'll have to wait for the replacement to get sent), and after that little ordeal then i joined the friends for the dinner.... and late that night was when i first found out about that Korean Drama, and ended staying up late to watch it.

Friday more drama watching, and Dinner at night... Gotta love how indecisive we all are just sat in the car for a long time (at least 30 min) while everyone tried to figure out where to eat... and then after that i drove everyone home.

Saterday... yes you got it... more of the drama... dinner (once again) with my friends, and then bowling... I won two of the games, and was placed 2nd in another.... YAYY.. and then once again slept late because this bad addiction..

Today hmm.. what should I be doing??? Well there's always the drama of course LOL... I think there was supposed to be something happening at Pac with my friends... but i think i'm too tired (and i think some sorish muscles from bowling... i'm so out of shape LOL)... hmm oh i should clean the rest of my room (especially all that junk that i threw into my room when we preparing for the relatives for Christmas dinner)... oh yes i have a lab already tomorrow... so I should prepare for that...


Sigh but gah School starts tomorrow... I don't wanna go back AHAHAAHAHAHA, and gotta wake up early (well compared to the holiday hours), as i told my boss/supervisior that i'll be going in for some hours tomorrow...

Oh yeah final note.. with the exception of going to work, I could now sleep in for a nice bit... as my earliest class starts at 12 now (and 11 on Fri), but i'm now stuck in the afternoon a bit longer (thursday ... ) as such i'm afraid i won't be able to visit the Anime Society for a while...
