Things get blown out of proportion easily

Sigh wow ... my reading week was wasted.. nothing much productive... and spent all my time worrying over exams/essays/assignments... with not much productivity in it. Not to mention that there was Olympics the entire time.

Anyways so yeah... thats what my past weeks review...

So whats new... a rant

So as my title states... Things SERIOUSLY gets blown out of proportion really easy...

So lets explain what i mean... The computer's are located right next to each other, and my sister comes down to use one of them to do her homework. So yeah at this time i'm happy and celebrating the fact that i'm done writing my essay (minus the bibliogrpahy), and i tell my sister that, and say "Now all I have to do now is the referencing", she goes "What referencing", and i decide to be playful/silly and took one the books i used and "LIGHTLY" tapped it on her head, saying "this referencing"...

Well could i say that was a really bad idea...

to make it short .. (i'll skip the long bouts of screaming that occurs between us) She freaks out screams, mother comes out of washroom wonder's whats happening. and next thing you know my "light tap" has become a forceful swat/drop on her head, and now my mother thinks i'm really a "evil mongerer who goes running about beating people up" and my mother states how in Canada today, if anyone see's me doing that in public i'll be thrown into jail...
my reaction = ... WHAT!!! how did a simple tap on the head with a book turn into a felonous crime??

at that point my mother calls it a night, and me and my sis resumes our arguments...

And all this from a simple silly move, with no intention of trying to cause brain damage etc etc (thats what my sister began to accuse me of at one point). not to mention my whole family is like pratically all born in ox related year (4 people) or month (Sis) ... and one snake... so we never want to give up easily... (we're all a bunch of stupid sttuborn loser's, though i'm not really sure if tauros's are suppsoed to be this stubborn... but i know Year of Ox people are) so i'm all pissed off, steamed... and trying to finish my Bibliography, and my sister keeps arguing at me, and i keep telling her to give it up, its been blown out of proportion etc, but she just keeps up, and it keeps getting worse.

So err yeah right now i'm still pissed/peeved... really wanting to talk with my mother and get it straight to her what happened... (though i'm the only still awake right now) though i really say its pointless as getting a point through her requires the same amount energy wasted in today's argument with my sister, as my mother doesn't change opinions easily either (none of us do..)



Anyways I think i could keep going.. but thats enough... I think i've cooled down long enough and having gotten some of it off my chest by ranting here, i think i should be able to go sleep now.

Though i seriously wish I could lug this comp to my room and make it 100% mine... (actually it could happen but then all the wiring (i estimate that i'll need over 20 m worth of cable in order to connect the comp to the router in basement... actually even more to keep the wires as out of sight as possible as it will have to pass three floors, unless we err drill through thr floors) and the messy state of my room would be a problem) having another computer being used nearby could be distracting, especially when your in a complete groove and fully focused on something.



Anyways night...
(upcoming "evil" dates of importance = Genetics Exam on Friday, Bio Science paper due the Weds after this one, and i haven't started preparing for any of these two)

It's reading week...

So yeah it's reading week... I'm free from school yay... or am I? sigh exam the first day back... essay due the next day, and then another exam on fri (at NIGHT!!!). to add to it we got the Olympics as the biggest source of distraction... and i haven't even started anything for my essay (well actually got the books already... just gotta make an essay from getting a general idea from them...)

anyways I guess a fun way to start the reading week was the eager anticipation of the new computer my mother bought (to prevent me and my sister from killing each other only comp we had...) ended up giving the computer area a makeover (ok ok i just lugged all my textbooks that were piled up to my room, making it even more messy up there... but hey its a lot lot cleaner then before, and half a garbage bag worth of paper is now cleared out from the area)

so here I am happily admiring my new LCD monitor... and trying to figure out what game to put on here...

OO now the fun bit of this week is trying to get all the money business for AN taken care of... (i'm now collecting money for some friends who's joining into the registration group) and gettign them all handed to the "group leader" when i meet him... and then trying to mangae my free time, homework, and work...

anyways thats enough for now... off to watch the recaps of the Olympics... and dinner

Bah & Golden Already

So lets get to the Golden part of my title first... Just reffering to the fact that Canada's already gotten a Gold Medal on the 1st day of competition in the Olympics... (congrats) and lets hope that Canada gets a good boost in morale and ups the medal count in the upcoming days...

Now tot he other half... BAH ... life as always MEH...

Its lover's day this upcoming Tuesday... So i'll be BAH'ing that all day LOL... (stupid loner me...), hope you couples have a nice day (or a nice rescheduled one if lets say exams or in the way LOL)...

Hmm Reading week starts the week after this, and i guess in a way i'm looking forward to it... it would a be a welcome break from the boring chore's known as attending classes everyday... Though on the other hand its the signal of "my busy time" as i have an essay, 2 exams, and a Scientific Paper due within 2 weeks of returning from it... Not to mention I haven't even picked a topic for my essay yet... (sigh i feel so hopeless and stupid... Grovels to all my SUPERIOR friends out in this vast miserble world LOL)

By the way... Despite what my friend believes I really really have to say today (well I'm reffering to Sat 11, even though this is written on the Sun LOL), was a REALLY REALLY nice and warm day... and brings much hope that Spring is indeed here... (the second we get a cold day, i'll be blamed for jinxing it... I so know it LOL... ah its all fun)

Anyways... so let me end this by once again saying BAH to Lover's day... and hoping to at least meet some friends over reading week (like say to give the AnimeNorth regirstration money to the one organizing the registration... you know who you are... LOL)... and not to mention really, really get everything started on my work/assignments and preferably done before reading week... many of these goals i fear will not be accomplished ... sigh.

Meh life is still the same for me... alomst a month has now passed since i last hung out with my friends... and to make even more tempting... i've been bumping into Warder's throughout the week... Both at Uni, and around my workplace... LOL

hmm I guessing the highlight of my week (asides for bumping into friends) is that i've finally figured out where the Petstore Menagerie is downtown, and finally visited it... (gotta love having Metropass)... very nice little place... got a nice looking plant there... and I think i'll be needing to pick up some nice small algae eater soon... I think i got algae growing on the wall of the aquarium

and on the downside of my week... just realised that my final two weeks of this month would be slightly busy... LOL got an test, and essay at the end of the month, and an annoying quiz/assignment from my gentics course every week or second week this month...

ah yeah ... Bah it's Lover's Day in a little over a week... BAH... LOL
