GAH... THIEVES!!!
ok ok... sigh anyways
So me and my iss managed to survive without our parents... we ended up buying too much food (LOL)... and what timing too the cherries are now reddening... but that leads to yet another problem
the problem... how to get it into the little naive head of youths that, those cherries are ours and not free for the taking... LOL
Yeah basically my sister was mobbed by a herd of youths trying to pick our cherry trees, they woldn't listen to her, she was telling their not ready (just turned red afterall... its not the deep blood red that you could see in super markets, and we wanted our cherries to be deep red before we picked them, hence we haven't really started picking them), anyways kids came, one asked (ok that was alright...) but somehow that one multiplied into a herd (no clue how many LOL, i was at uni at this time), and caused my sister grief as she tried to control them as they ran all over the front yard stepped into our flowers relentlessly pulled anything remotely red, along with leaves, branches etc... Our enighbour even saw how distressed and mobbed my sister was and tried to tell them to stop picking at the cherries, obviously that didn't work
LOL my sister even tried to tell them to get their parent to plant their own cherry tree... their reply "but it would take too long before it starts have fruits..." ... yeah right now how long have our family been waiting for the fruit Huh huh... not to mention that we only totaled a small handful of cherries last year because all the cherries in the neighbourhood decided to take a years break... So we've waited a long time, these tree are our precious we've planted them ourselves when we moved to TO, and gah you don't think we've wiated long enough... and here you are stealing (as only one asked permission.. and no one else did)
btw i'm thinking i know which kid asked... My sister and mother (man their travelling alot...) they just left for a trip to Ottawa yesterday, so I'm the one these people come to, and one asked to pick yesterday, I said no. Today he came back, once again i sad no, he asks why, i explained how rude everyone was to my sister as being the reason... shortly after i closed the door, i went to my room and looked out.. there he was picking the cherries... GAH no manners... I SAID NO!!!... that does not mean PICK all you like...
sigh... it was so nice and beautiful too... The low low branch 9the one that they all got to), was super heavy and laden with fruits that the branch came down to near the top of the car... now its not... Boo... Now we actually have to climb the tree to pick them...
