Wisdom Teeth = an arm and leg!!!

Sigh well... the next phase of this "interesting" Wisdom Teeth serial of mine has occured...

Met with the Oral Surgeon today for a consulatation. Result = those 3 wisdom teeth of yours (1 visble, 1 beneath the skin, one who knows where) has to go. BTW my sis also came along for her consultation (I still don't understadn why she was so happy when that Teeth came out...) anyways her = 1 teeth needs out (+ she's at the age where any other wisdom teeth wouldn't even grow anymore)

Furthermore my mother freaked out pretty much right away..
paraphrasing from here own...
What 3!!!??? can't we just take out one side and do the other side later...
Dr = nah its better all at once... You don't want your son to suffer now do you?? This is quite painful and making him do it twice is just cruel (and then something along the lines of Guys are really wusses, better to get it down all at once). Hey my daughter, i made her get all 4 teeth pulled out at once... Anyways... we'll be trying to make it comfortable so we'll be using a combination of anesthetics (local, and whole). Oh and he can't eat food for 6 hours before the operation blah blah
Sis = err what about me... I only have 1 teeth needing out, do i need to go through all that??
Dr = Oh no... in your case, we'll only be using local anesthetics (freezing of the gums) (whole = laughing gas??, or whatever else), and you could eat some food with X hours unlike him...
me = damn...

Yeah anyways that how 50 dollars went down the drain... just for a consultation that lasted very shortly (less then 5 min). and a lot more lost due to the X-rays.

Oh yes... What about the cost of this upcoming surgery (scheduled somewhere in X-mas time... unless i have exams after it then i'll need to delay it). Well Teeth's apperently cost between $210-280 each depending on which ones are being pulled. Oh yes and then we have the Anesthetics/drugs to factor in... And wow Medical Specialists certainly make a nice living (not to mention their office hours STINK... Only work in mornings, and in their office a couple of times, they do have a second office but still...)

Anyways enough rambling the cost for my upcoming surgery comes to about $1050!!!.... my sisters damn her is way way much more cheaper... so now its time for my family to research and learn about the various insurances (Dad's company, and Univeristy) that i'm covered under to figure out how to get this operation covered by it...

Sigh... so not looking for to the month of Dec... sure theres the X-mas holidays but a good portion of it would be accomplished surviving under a liquid diet, and in pain... oh yes lets not forget thats when all the midterms take place.

ah well enough rambling...

TIFF done... ARGH MSN

well that was crazy. 2 midnight madness in a row... I was getting like 8-10 hours of sleep all summer long, and all of a sudden i'm only getting less then 4-5 hours.

Anyways TIFF was fun and all, saw 7 movies in total 1 American, 1 Hong Kong, 1 China, 2 Japanese, 2 Korean. and the joys of having at least RUSH'ed one of them. saw a small number of directors/stars

Anyways what else to say...

Ah yes having spent so much time downtown i was looking forward to just going home and spending time chatting with friends and such over the internet, what do i get?? I end up finding that all MSN/Hotmail related stuff are dead (at least for me). So yeah i'm spending the whole weekend with no way to chat through the comp, but i have all other internet access...

Anyways i'm off to finish my breakfast and stress over trying to get msn working again. (not a problem with the comp either... I used my super crappy comp and it couldn't log on either...)

TIFF/School overload

Gonna make this one a short one

Gah looks like i'm in for one big year... i've attended each one of my classes at least one time now, now i'm in the process of printing my lectures off. But gah what did i get myself into. Dang those courses that have "written assignments", and double dang to my POL214 course... 2 essays (1st one due in nov 1)

Its also TIFF time for those of you who didn't know, so every few days i'm downtown lining up for movie or whatnot... Especially if i'm already on campus at Uni then i'll be wandering around in circles all over downtown to kill time (time for me to start abusing chap/indigo again... too bad the one at Bay/Bloor (Chapters near Yorkville) closed down. To date i've seen 3 movies, and 2 guranteed to watch (have tickets already), and 2 more that will be decided when the time arrives...

anyways for those who doesn't know i've doing ranting about the movies i've seen on the Konquest forums.

http://www.konquest.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1108

anyways i'm off to try and print this annoying 54 page/slide lecture...

Densha Otoko - The Train Man

OMG this show is... like WOW... and errily familiar. One of my friends that i met at the anime Con (yes Hoshi, Its a girl... looks away) told me I had to watch this and that I could relate to it... I could see why LOL

Anyways, this show is based on a real event, which was later made into a novel and then movie (released a month or so before the tv series)and now followed by the tv drama (which i'm watching). Its about a Nerdy/Geeky Otaku who has an extremely miserble job, harassed pretty much everywhere he goes, and his life revolves around anime... Anyways one day going home from an anime convention he sees a pretty lady on the subway who ends up getting harassed by a drunk man, and in a fit of courage he stands up and defends the lady. He ends up giving her his address (for delivery of a thank you gift), and this is where it takes off...

He returns home and proceeds to recounts his day on a rant forum/chat (for lonely Otaku's, and whatnot), and proceeds to gain their support and help as he tries to further his relation with the girl he met. To the point where, I would have to say suceed, not wanting to spoil this show by finding out how it turns out.

I've only seen 2 eps so far (3 subbed to date) All i could say about this show is that its Hilarious, and sad at the same time, and OMG OMG i could SO see myself in his position in three years time (his age). Miserable job (especially with my lack of vision for my passage through Univeristy), never ever been in a relationship, and getting my most fun out of conventions..., and being an Anime Otaku (well at least i'm so poor that i would never be able to make my room look like any of those Otaku's in the show, well maybe in a good number of years... gasps 3??). LOL

BTW for your information. The two pics I included are from the tv series and the movie... The tc series is the one to the left, and the movie is the one to the right (Guy having Long hair

Maybe i should get a decent haircut, or just change my image somehow. (Gasps, i could already see a good number of people eager to see that happen, or even willing to take into their hands.)
