Densha Otoko - The Train Man

Anyways, this show is based on a real event, which was later made into a novel and then movie (released a month or so before the tv series)and now followed by the tv drama (which i'm watching). Its about a Nerdy/Geeky Otaku who has an extremely miserble job, harassed pretty much everywhere he goes, and his life revolves around anime... Anyways one day going home from an anime convention he sees a pretty lady on the subway who ends up getting harassed by a drunk man, and in a fit of courage he stands up and defends the lady. He ends up giving her his address (for delivery of a thank you gift), and this is where it takes off...
He returns home and proceeds to recounts his day on a rant forum/chat (for lonely Otaku's, and whatnot), and proceeds to gain their support and help as he tries to further his relation with the girl he met. To the point where, I would have to say suceed, not wanting to spoil this show by finding out how it turns out.
I've only seen 2 eps so far (3 subbed to date) All i could say about this show is that its Hilarious, and sad at the same time, and OMG OMG i could SO see myself in his position in three years time (his age). Miserable job (especially with my lack of vision for my passage through Univeristy), never ever been in a relationship, and getting my most fun out of conventions..., and being an Anime Otaku (well at least i'm so poor that i would never be able to make my room look like any of those Otaku's in the show, well maybe in a good number of years... gasps 3??). LOL
BTW for your information. The two pics I included are from the tv series and the movie... The tc series is the one to the left, and the movie is the one to the right (Guy having Long hair
Maybe i should get a decent haircut, or just change my image somehow. (Gasps, i could already see a good number of people eager to see that happen, or even willing to take into their hands.)
